Even with the top up, the door just opens wider so it should be easier to get in still.
But really no point in that discussion anymore, you should post some pics of the whole car so we can see how it looks. I honestly do not think it looks bad but better pics from farther away might change a few minds.

BLACK interior looks awesome!
Always!!! Also lemon yellow! Still waiting for the wide rear fender to come, so I can re-paint the car. May things working on progress. The most interesting one planning right now is coating the DCT gear box with ACX or AlCrTiN, see if it can break through the barrier handling more than 520-550NM. Hard time finding a good condition disposed DCT gear box, found one from a total lost Z4 with 18000KM on, but over 3500USD, which i think way too expensive…………….. |

To me the Z4 has understated elegance in its pure form. It just doesn't seem like a car that needs crazy mods to make a statement. However, I have always respected diversity but I'll leave mine as is. Had and incredible discussion about the car with an 80 something year old man who was circling my car today when I came out of Walmart today. It's a beautiful car...leave it alone!
