BMW Tire&Wheel Protection Plan worth it?
Just picked up my new 2013 Z4 35i last night!!(will post some pics later )
And at the dealership, the dealer tried to persuade me to get this "Tire&Wheel Protection Plan" for around $1500, up to $7500 claim, 5 years. And my CA sounds really sincere about it ... I didn't want to rush into it so I ask her to let me think about it. So please advice, is it worth the money ? A million thanks! |

they will always persuade you, thats how they make money. Of course they are sincere about taking money outta your pocket.
I didn't take it, used that money to get a set of non-runflats performance tires and never looked back. it only applies if you are running stock non-runflats, and i hope you don't have a 296 style rim because if you aren't careful, and get that rim bent, you are in a world of hurt with the dealers because you'll find out that their "Tire&Wheel Protection Plan" is really quite conditional. just my 2 cents, save the money. if you get a flat, good chance to swap for non-runflats with that 1500.
