DVD Full Screen
Hi all, new to the forum and need a spot of help. My e89 only seems to want to play DVD's in a small window in the centre of the screen, zoom makes very little difference, and I can't find out how to change this other then you tube which is in a different language: .
Any help would be much appreciated. |

It might make a difference if we knew whether Birmingham was in England ("spot" sounds English), Alabama, or one of the dozen other Birminghams in the US ("other then" seems American). It might not, but there could be difference in what's supplied for different countries.
Have you tried multiple discs? Some discs are encoded in a way that could mean they're displayed both letterboxed and pillarboxed. You could also try watching the video in the car and ignoring the wording of the menu items but pay attention to their location - it's likely that the same options appear in the same place irrespective of language.

Thanks guys, I'm in the UK. As mentioned zoom makes very little difference. I've tried looking at the location of the menu items in the video, but this doesn't seem to correspond to anything I can see on my screen. tried a few different dvd's, will try more.
Thanks AZ34, because I can. |
