AST 4200 Double Adjustable Coilovers for M3 and 1M

Here is our AST 4200 with Swift springs and Vorshlag camber plates for our project 1M. This same coilover kit will also work on the the M3.

Shown with optional adjustable front strut mount, rear quick change spring kit(with helpers and radial thrust bearing) and remote rear rebound adjusters.

The 4200 Series shocks use AST’s Twin Piston Dual Adjust (TPDA) technology. Similar non adjustable versions have been found in the highest forms of racing. TPDA builds on this technology to allow for 2 adjustment knobs to be mounted on the shock body (no tools required). Quick rebound and compression changes can be made in the pits in seconds. 4200s are fully customizable and rebuildable.

AST-USA offers full rebuilding and revalving services for AST shocks at competitive prices. This includes quick turn around when you need it the most.
Benefits include:
Monotube design - gives the biggest piston sizes available
Floating piston design with high pressure nitrogen means no cavitation around the piston
Compression and Rebound adjuster knobs permanently mounted on the dampers – no fumbling for knobs
Fully threaded strut bodies allow maximum tire width without fender rolling or larger spacers
Rebuildable by AST-USA – get the valving you want, when you want it.
AST-USA offers full rebuilding and revalving services for AST shocks at competitive prices. This includes quick turn around when you need it the most.

» Rebound and Compression Adjustable, without reservoirs ("Internal Doubles")
» 22mm diameter shaft struts, non-inverted
» Aluminum threaded cylinder shocks, non-inverted
» Spherical lower "eye" shock mounts
» Optional spherical upper shock mount assemblies
» Synthetic hydraulic fluid
» Designed for racing classes that require any adjustment be internal ("no reservoirs")

These things = sex. I just can't see myself spending so much money on these, I don't track my car. If I did, these would be on my list.

The 1M has not been at GIAC, Berk Technology and other manufactures getting R&D's done so the car has not been in my possession in the last 4 weeks for any installs.

No, these are still custom only. You are looking at 4-6 weeks.

400-500F and 700-800R depends on how much rate you can live with on the street.

AST 4200

Although some manufactures like to claim adding new features to their product line, such as "dial style knobs" or "spherical bearing lower mounts" on BMW applications. AST has made this standard on their coilovers long ago.
