Any BMW drivers paying 8 bucks for a gallon of premium? My local Shell and Mobil just reached 7.63 today

I think I’ll look into public buses or something…

"SoCal" there's part of your problem. It's probably way cheaper across the border either State or National.

Damn that's cheap, I haven't seen $4.29 for premium in over 10 years here in Kalifornia.

$3.89 here, really surprised we haven't been gouged yet but I'm sure it's coming. Everything is seemingly a ripoff these days, I have no idea how average folks are making ends meet right now (probably lots and lots of debt).

$3.89?! Where is that price?

Separately, I hope everyone here knows that you do not need to fill up with premium. You can research this topic elsewhere as it's been widely discussed.

As we know California requires a special blend and you can't bring it in from Texas refiners so oil leaves California goes abroad and is imported back. California with it's current government is doing this to itself. All of your refineries are closing so combined with war in Iran and what's happening in the state is not good.

Premium yesterday for me was $4.05 in Mass.

Why are you advising people to put shit gas in their cars? Running anything but premium
(preferably Top Tier) in these cars is simply foolish. You're driving a performance car, not a Camry...Yes, the car will "run" with regular, but it will not perform as intended. You're also killing your engine slowly but surely. Those couple cents saved today equates to expensive repairs down the road guys..

Gas went up 50c over the weekend here in the Philly area. $4.75 a gal for Shell V Nitro+ 93

While not CA expensive, it has increased over $1/gal in the last couple weeks here in TX. I hope everyone realizes it's all a big scam. The oil companies rake in record profits with their puppets in gov. while we pay for it.

93 octane just tipped over $4 at my local Exxon.

I could probably still get it for 3.90 at some of the local glue sniffer convenience stores around here but don't trust their gas.

My cousin said diesel is around $4.50 in Beaumont, but a lot of refineries are based there so it's always been cheaper in the BM.

I just paid $4.09 for 93 octane in Minnesota. California always has higher gas prices.

FYI there are 4 liters in one gallon not two. (3.78 if you want to be technical)

Recall lowest premium price in SoCal at $4.13 early 2025...that before BS TACO, tariffs and war taxes took hold

To-date SoCal example nearby...

Sorry, I was being a wise ass. Probably should've made that more clear, lol.

The question was "How many L in a Gallon?" and there are indeed two L's in the word "gallon".

Everyone knows a joke is super hilarious if you have to explain it!

well... I still don't know how may "liters" are in 1 gallon. I'm trying to figure out how to covert German gas station prices(2.01 euros as displayed at the station) to US gallons in US Dollar. Yes, I was never any good at math.
