E89 30i front discs on a 23i

My discs on my e89 23i are due for replacement. And I noticed that the 30i has larger front discs at 330mm instead of 300mm on the 23i, and I was wondering has anyone put a 330mm disc instead of the 300mm one on the e89 z4?
As I was researching would it be okay just to replace the calliper mounting brackets to the 30i ones? Or is there another way to do this?

You'll need to fit 28i/30i calipers and cradles too!
