Launch control gone?
I have a 2014 35i with DCT. I can't seem to get launch control to work and it is not in the manual. Did they do away with launch control in the newer models?
This car is MUCH slower than my 335i with the same engine. I don't even think Z4s can spin the wheels anymore ha, pretty sad, there's hella turbo lag until 4000rpm or so. |

Launch Control
It's on page 58 of my 2010 Owners Manual and page 68 of yours (attached). While my Z4 is pretty quick I do agree I am still getting used to having the amount of lag.

For the record my manual 2011 Z4 was a barnstormer off the line. |

Sport or Sport+ is not just for tightening up on the dampeners but it also signals the DCT to operate faster with high torque and clamping force |

Someday I am going to find a paved area where I can turn it off completely and drift it a little to see what happens. The DSC can save your butt however I have had cars with no nannies whatsoever and I just had to manage the H.P. |
