E92 heritage - the E21
So ours is BMW's 3-Series 5th generation. The following pics show how far we have come.

The e21 is my favorite 3 series of all time. It is under rated in the US, cause we never got the 323i. I have fond memories as a teen driving the hell out of my dad's car. My brother and I used to sneak the car out at night. I found out recently from my mom, that my dad knew that we were doing it, and he let us.

Yes it did help with the girlies. I grew up in Manila, and that city was my race track. Granted I was young and stupid, but thank God I am still alive. These days I am enjoying a 335xi coupe I picked up last week. Now as back then, it too does help with the girlies

The e21 styling was very upright and sedan like. It was able combine both performance and practicality. I never took much notice to the back of the car, but I don't find it unpleasant.

I moved from South Florida to the Bay Area just 3 months ago, and I have noticed that here in NorCal there are more "classic" BMWs than in SoFla.
Just in my workplace there are 2 2002's - that's another classic that I love. |
