Z4 35i Brakes
I work at a BMW dealership, and I noticed that the 35is do not have the uprated 335i brakes, they just have the same as the 30i. However, in pictures of euro spec cars, the z4 35i has the 335i brakes? what gives?
The gray car is a euro spec 35i and clearly has the big 335i brakes the blue car is a us spec car, and you can barely see the smaller brakes, but they are clearly not the same as the euro ones.

Hmmm..
A technical data sheet I have says the 35i has 13.7 front brakes while the 30i has 11.8 front brakes. From a quick look, I'd say mine dones.

yeah, but look at your brakes, then look at the brakes on the space gray Euro spec 35i above. I saw the pics from when you got your car, the brakes on the euro car are definitely bigger. Im just curious as to why BMW did this?

I am not surprised that they would/could have larger brakes in Germany due to autobahn speeds but they should be at least an option elsewhere.

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...egoryID=149932 personally, and this is just me, i think that is too high for a non-forged wheel. if they were lightweight forged wheels, i would buy though. |

I think it is way to pricey. It better cut wind down a whole lot to be worth it.
