Petrol Level upon delivery

I was so bedazzled when I saw the car that I asked about everything except fuel. Is it normal to only have a quarter tank of fuel given on a new car ??? Or should I ask for a full tank ? cheers

they charge you "delivery" on top of the invoice price, at least in CH, which includes a full tank. So you should definitely ask for it. How long did you wait since your order?

I got charge £30 which I asked to take off (as I don't pay for my fuel) - they said it wasn't possible because it came from the factory with the fuel. I ended up with about 2/3 of a tank

hahahah true dat .

they only give you enough so you can drive far enough to not make it worth while to come back to the dealership.

Since I offered a bit under invoice for my 35i/DCT, the dealer tried to add
- delivery prep
- gas
- mats
- title paperwork

I said - no, it's all included at no additional $.

I drove away with a full tank.
