I have Adaptive M Suspension for my order. I am not sure about the comfort access, is it worth? Nice to have, but for extra money.... Personally, I will not opt for the adaptive headlights. One of my car got this headlights, and in where I live is quite hilly. It supposed to be very useful in my situtation, but I found out not. I guess it will be useful for me if I drive in complete dark environment. |

Ordered mid May, scheduled to be delivered mid September. Z4 sdrive23i Space Grey Coral Red leather + anthrazit rooftop bmw 293 18 inch alloys sport seats bluetooth telephone audio connection navigation system professional bmw professional radio wind deflector usb audio automatic 6 speed gearbox park distance control rain sensor light sensor Looking forward to contribute to the site with pics of my own. My grandfather had a BMW 3.0 CSi and since I'm a child (now 38 y.o.) I'm looking for the moment I'll have my own BMW ... Then came the "Bangle" years and I thought that moment might never come. Thanks to Julianne Blasi and Nadya Arnaout I'm now reconciled with the BMW design (not that I disliked previous models, but just wasn't mad about them), and now three more months to wait and I'll finally get there. |

Manual Leatherette Alpine White Heat Package haha..nothing special..I started looking 2 weeks ago and they found this build on its way to the states. So its being routed to my location in hopefully no more than another week. I had a question. Does the wind deflector come with certain options or can anyone just buy that component? And any idea how much those things deflect? sorry for the silly questions but im excited its coming soon |

I had the same question on the wind defector before. It seems it is not really necessary especially it is not possible for us to ride at high speed very often. But, if you think it is still necessary, it can be added after car arrival. It is better to order it after half year of car delivery because of tax free. BTW, I don't know about "servotronic". How did you get this information from the dealer? |

Bimmer, you added quite a lot of options to the vehicle. Are you sure the navigation system has HK map avaiable and GPS ready? Or just you love the GUI and harddisk for music?
Welcome to the z4 family. |

Hi all! Thank you for the warm welcome.
Dear WP, for Servotronic, when I first mentioned to the sales person, he mixed it up with the "active steering", which alters the steering ratio with the speed. Then, I studied the catalogue carefully and searched the internet extensively. I came to the conclusion that it serves to make the steering wheel lighter when the car is slow. For Otago, more than one sales told me that the HK maps and GPS is available for the system. I just trust their words. Hopefully they have not cheated me... Btw, what is "GUI"? |

Responding to WP about the cost of my order, it's shameful to tell all BMW lovers here that I originally planned to buy an Audi S5 cabrio, a white one with blue or black top...
I missed the soft top of my CLK after I changed it to my present 335i Cabrio. I have difficulty putting my golf bag in the boot after I opened the hardtop. I do want a 4-seater to accomodate my wife and my young daughter together, and I do want a soft top which can be operated when my car is moving. Then.... I saw this 2009 z4..... I just can't resist its charm! The most difficult decision was finally made my by 3 year-old daughter. When I asked her,"do you like a blue car or a brown car (Havanna)?" "A blue car !", she said. Then I made the order at the show room. Coming back to answer WP's question about the cost; it is at least not as much as the Audi S5 cabrio, but now I have another hard top, only two seats and even less storage space. It is " Love at first sight " |

If you are looking for a convertible car, hardtop is the way to go.
Softtop is light but hard to maintain. I have not much interest to Audi cars (look never impress me a lot) except R8. BTW GUI=graphic user interface Cheers. |
