Taking a US BMW Z4 to France

Hi all, I'm moving from the US to France soon and am considering taking my 2013 BMW Z4 (which I love) with me. Has anyone done this and had issues with repairs? I'm trying to figure out if many of the internal parts are different for US vs EU BMWs and if there will be issues reading the programming for diagnostics after the necessary parts have been converted to EU specs.

PS-I know that changes will have to made on the headlights, rear lights, etc when bringing the vehicle in. I'm still trying to figure out how much the conversions will cost.

PPS-I'm an EU citizen, relocating the car with my belongings, so no VAT or tax applies. (People keep bringing this up lol)

If anyone has done this, please let me know how it went. Info has been so hard to find. I will be eternally grateful. Thank you!
