Fuse #77 blows when replaced...with ignition off!
I have a 2009 E89 Z4 that recently lost all power to the climate control on the dash.
The culprit is fuse #77 which blows immediately when replaced. Anyone experience a same/similar issue? |

Fuse 77 also feeds the glovebox light and luggage compartment light, and should be a 10 amp. So a couple of other places to check there as this sounds like a short somewhere.

Finally figured out what the issue was.
The glovebox light wiring harness had pulled away from the connectors and the bare wires were touching a metal plate, thus grounding the circuit and blowing fuse 77 all the time. To see this, I had to remove the front dash panel around the climate control and just happened to see the bare wires staring at me. |
