Maybe not everyone can see what is more revealing, but if you look you can see more of the headlights and taillights!
The headlights look like a sleeker version of the current 5 series headlights and the taillights look like a mix of 5 series/6 series. The general shape is 6 series but they wrap around the car slightly like the 5 series.

haha, it's the camo. The bad thing is it's black and white. It confuses your head and makes it harder to spot the lines/panels of the car.

i dont like the shape of rear lights, but i like much more how the roof line is on this car. the roadster had too much of a bubble. The coupe was gorgeous though, hope they dont mess that whale tale kind of style it had, otherwise id be in market for used one in a year or two.

The Z4 is my ideal Sunday driver... I am thinking about in 7yrs or so. And it looks like they keep getting better with age so I can wait to get one.

No. There were a bunch of reasons why the name changed from 3 to 4.
First, the car changed a lot. It got bigger, new engines, more comfortable, better handling etc... BMW wanted people to realize this was a radically different car, so radical that it shouldn't be associated with the name Z3 anymore. Also, back when BMW released the Z4, they were going through the process of naming all of their coupes even numbers and sedans odd numbers. The reason why the 3 series coupe didn't become the 4 series is because BMW didn't want to lose the legendary M3coupe name. And so they kept the 3 series coupe a 3 and then subsequently decided to keep the 1 series coupe the 1 and not the 2.
