Single Turbo Z4
Hi guys
I would like to share a view video of my Single turbo 335i and Z4 35i. The 335i was completed a few years back and was the first Single turbo n54 in South Africa. My Z4 is also the first ST in the country. I will be adding more videos soon. My Z4 is an RHD top mount build. Currently making around 600whp with a stage 2 pump. The plan is to push it to al least 700whp with a Port injection kit and an inline pump. You can check the videos out at https://www.youtube.com/user/KrS247 |

i hit 606whp. TBI tops out at around 500whp. anything more than that and you'll want PI and will need another pump.

So is that all you have is the two pumps in series then? I was told from Steve at Fuel-it that I should install an adjustable FPR with a return line if I want to use the stage 2 intank with an additional inline pump. The setup I was currently running was the stock turbos and stock lpfp, upgraded Fuel-it lines from the tank to bluetooth ethanol sensor and TBI kit... I was running 100% E85 on that with no problem. But now I have MMP Stage 3 turbos and PI on order, so I'm looking at fuel pump options that will still allow me to keep running 100% E85... I might just go full custom and ditch the in tank pump all together and run something like a Magnafuel or Fuelab pump, 1:1 FPR and a return line.

Fueling is a big issue with the n54 platform.
There isn't much available for the e89. I am running 30% eth. Dual 7GPH meth Nozzles. The LPFP was swapped out for a Walbro 450. With all this, the car is good for 600whp. I ran the same fuel setup on my bottom mount single turbo 335i and it also held 600whp just fine. The more Eth you add the harder your pumps have to work. When I swapped out the Eth for 98 (and higher) Ron fuel it did wonders for the HPFP and the LPFP. With just race fuel in the tank, I think 650whp might be achievable with a Walbro 450 and a dual meth nozzle setup. Time will tell. |

This is a complete Low Pressure Fuel Pump (LPFP) upgrade that replaces your stock LPFP assembly with a new E85 certified one. The new Walbro 450 pump provides more flow than stock one and this assembly can be purchased one of three ways to meet your needs. New Build: This option includes a new BMW LPFP bucket that is upgraded with a new Walbro 450 pump and filter. No core deposit required but is eligible for a core refund of $150 should you elect to return your *stock bucket. Rebuild: If you'd prefer to send your *stock bucket in to be rebuilt and avoid the core deposit, this is the option for you. If you choose this option, your order will ship within 72 hours of receiving your *stock bucket. Trade-in: Due to the limited availablity of the Z4 pump assemblies, we rarely have this option available so it is not listed as a buying option. If you're interested in this option please contact us at info@fuel-it.com to see if we have a core available. If we do this option allows you to recieve a rebuilt stock bucket with a new Walbro 450 pump, filter, and fittings to swap out your stock LPFP assembly. A $300 core deposit is required that is refunded when we receive your *stock bucket. All the options include the following: A complete plug and play solution by simply replacing your stock bucket A new E85 compatible Walbro F90000267 (450) pump A new Walbro filter A new custom fuel lines Flow testing prior to shipping You can see the details and pictures here: https://bimmer-performance-center.my...2-lpfp-upgrade |

Why can't you just run 2x 450 pumps, and port injection?

The Z4 stock LPFP performs either the same or better than any stage 2 LPFP out there. Now, adding an inline would help even more to help balance out the load for the HPFP
Our LPFP can handle well over 500 whp. In fact its not really the whp of concern its the torque. |

I ended up going completely custom race car style lol... I removed the whole factory system, including the factory gas tank, and I installed a 10 gallon fuel cell in the trunk, Fuelab pump, Fuelab filter, 8an feed lines, 6an return line, MMP port injection, and a Fuelab 1:1 electronic regulator that controls the speed of the fuel pump... Needless to say, I have absolutely no fuel supply issues running the MMP turbos to 28psi with 100% E85

Damn. I read some ones review on the double barrel. Looks like a lot of custom work just to get it to fit, custom cp, custom fmic outlet, etc..

It can easily be corrected with custom fuel lines of course. The other hardware is of no issue. |
