Let's get some shoes! (for my Atacama Yellow Z4)
So I got some new shoes for my Atacama Yellow Z and decided to have some fun with the camera. No real mods except shorty antenna and BMW Performance Kidney. No editing were done to the photos because, well, my Photoshop skills are laughable. They're running on 19x9 (245/35) and 19x10 (275/30) Here we go:

Thanks for the positive comments
What I like most about the wheels though I think is that the 245/275s fill the wheel wells very well. It's not exactly flush (maybe a little bit more than half an inch?) but I think is a perfect combination between aesthetics and function, especially with the poor roads around here. In regards to the taxi service, I actually thought about making my license plate "MY TAXI" since all my friends tell me the color is very NY Taxi. Looks good to me, |

Looks great. Love the Black on Yellow. Gotta black smoke out those orange and red F and R reflectors and the white side markers. Then Black CF overlays on the roundels. Too many contrasting colors from Bimmer. Just my opinion.

They're the Avant Garde M359. Got them from Need4SpeedMotorsports but a few vendors sell them (Pyspeed and Mod Bargains off the top of my head)
In terms of spec, Front: 19x9 et. 35 running on 245/35/19 Rear: 19x10 et. 38 running on 275/30/19 They're ZCP replicas, not CSL. I thought about getting OEM ZCP instead, but the OEMs don't have the correct offset for the Z. I figured well built replica > OEM with spacers. That, and I save myself some money. |

I don't think my car stock car is worthy of its own pictures thread but I'm going to briefly thread jack yours to share where your car's old shoes ended up

Before I had my 296 resprayed I also looked at the M359 but at that time they were only available in 9x19ET30 and 10x19ET33. For the fronts that was not such a problem but for the rears it was very close. But now that they are available in ET 35/38 for the Z it should be ok and it looks stunning. |

Ha, no but I'm just really glad they went to someone who will really make good use of them Is that black by the way? Car looks fantastic. Black was actually my first choice color, but currently owning a black car and the maintenance in it made it the last choice on the Z. Thank you for the kind praise, Ramius. It took me a while (say... about 3 months ) to finalize what wheels I wanted, but I think I made the right choice. |

I am making GREAT use of the wheels and tires.. in fact I am so excited about them I have my torque wrench in the back to check the lugs for the first few hundred miles as I *ahem* test *ahem* the differences going to 18s and a different RFT compound |
