i'm going to get myself a 23i, i've got few questions that hope u guys can give me advise.
is the power good enough for daily drive? the dealer only able to arranged a 15 min test drive for me, due to heavy rain and fully booked test drive schedule, i only tested in busy traffic. also, how bad is the ride with RFT? anyone changed to normal tires? my last question is, i prefer light interior color, but is it easy to pick up dirty and stain? thanks! |

RFT is bad especially rainy days. It is noisy & take long time to warm up. Grip is somewhat 20% less when compare with non-RF version. I will change them soon. This is my 2nd convertible, I still prefer black interior because after an open ride at Hong Kong, you can't believe how dirty it was! AhAh. I can have a test drive around 1 hrs before I bought my Z4, you can see the report @: http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/bigmouth-...ndex?l=f&id=16 1 major draw back is noisy hardtop after few months of driving (from the rubber seal & the movable components) |

bigmouth studio: thanks for ur opinions! since i purchase from stock (with good discount), so my color choice is very limited, either grey/beige or blue/black. beige really brightened up the interior and make it feel more spacious, but hard to keep it clean.
noisy hardtop...hmm.... really a big concern for me. |

Because the road condition in HK (especially on HK Island) is poor, once my Z4 pass though those lumpy surface, the hard top produces some noise. After repeated vibration from those lumpy road, the hard top loosen up & produce more sound when you pass by. |

E89 is very exciting car to drive, mine already had 9980km without any issues. The 23i is good enough for HK traffic but the standard rim size is 16 only (?) , I think bigger the rim size will make the car look better. The RFT is OK for me, it did give you a rough ride compare to non-RFT but I will stick with the RFT for safety reason.
Mine is Sap. Black with red interior, so far the black paint is swirls free; hope to keep it that way. |
