I just saw that. Good stuff!! And for what it's worth, 0-60 time is still more important to me than golf bag capacity!!

Fantastic redesign of this car. If I could afford to have an extra car with just 2 seats this would be it. Love the car in blue... looking forward to seeing all the colour combos as they start delivering.

Mark (or anyone) what blue is that?!? That looks frick-n stellar!

I'd like to see the wheels on that car at a standstill also, unless they are the same twin 5 spoke ones seen on the Buick-tan press car.

Looks great, with the exception of the ultra wide kidneys and gaping slats therein. I'm not a fan of the ever-widening kidney grill, and had hoped it would be contained to the fugly CS concept car.

I think this car hit the jackpot , imagine what would Z5 or Z6 look like? , same stuff but only bigger , longer and wider and V10....more luxurious less sporty something like SL...damn they should start thinking about that

Hi Mark:

Thanks much for sending me links to the new Z4 posts. Check out my new sig. This site fits me near perfectly now. I haven't checked yet to see if there is a place for Z4 or M discussions specifically.

I leased my M Roadster knowing that the new Z4 was on the way. I wanted the option of buying it down the line if I decided I want to keep it--a la the Z06. I am #1 on my dealer's list for the first new M Roadster it receives--just in case BMW decides to produce one. I really like my roadster. And, I really like the looks of the new roadster.

Best, Z

Edit: Ah, it looks like this place is the one for Z4 discussions.

Haha, I was expecting to hate it based on what we'd seen so far, but I don't which is a good sign. I definately don't like the rear or the interior, but he rest isn't bad.

I don't get the sDrive 23i... It's a new engine right? Anyone got more info?

Seems like it has wierd specs considering it has less HP than the last 2,5 R6 rated at 218 HP...

I thought they were doing this to appeal to the European audience who have interests with smaller engined cars?

At the moment in the UK you can buy either the 2.5i or 2.5si Z4. One has 177bhp and the other 218bhp. The sDrive23 does seem to be a new variant or slightly modified 2.5 litre unit.

Probably the same motor as the 323i in Canada, hence the sDrive23 name. Power on the two is just about equal.

i really want a Z4. fak the practicality, this thing is wonderful, but i bet will be on par with Boxster's price tag. Very very good looking car.

rant// One question though: WHY BMW insits on using a color that can only be described as 'bleached urine'. ???! Disgusting. Stick with sivlers, whites, blacks or dark blues. THEY WORK. This? Doesn't. Just like in case with 7 series. yuk. //rant over.

I don't know about the 23i, but the fast engine is the tt 335i engine.
