Front seat pully out bit!

Hi All

I have the standard m sport seats (not leather).
I have a problem, well annoyance with the drivers seat where that support piece pulls out to go under your legs.
Basically its totally crooked. When its in the pushed back position, theres about a 2 inch gap at 1 side and nothing the other side.
Its also crooked when pulled out. I know its not the end of the world but wondered if there was any way to adjust it as my OCD cant cope

Si..

did you extend it and release it a few times to see if it goes away?
