D-Can cable and software

hi all

I have searched but couldn't see an answer. I'm going to buy a dcan cable but can I download some software for diag and coding? or any nice members who would have it all and I could "copy" for beer or monies

Yes you can. Most of them are now free, like inpa. You can just google inpa and download. Mike's Easy bmw tools come with almost everything you'll ever need except the sp_daten files.

I'd look for a cable that comes bundled with a CD/DVD with an easy installation wizard. IT will save you wasting a weekend messing about.

^ this. I got mine from Cableshack, cable and software. Even with their installer package it took a few hours and a few goes.
