Need help on the TPM for F30
Today, i got the new set of rims and tires from a friend he has a E90 335. I have it installed on my F30. When i start the car it said TPM malfunctioned, but once i reset and drive bout 30 sec. It says TPM active and everything went fine. But every time i start the car, it will have that TPM malfunctioned and it goes away with the active status about 30 seconds after the start up. I noticed that it might be the different sensor problem, but how come it went fine after i reset the tpm from the idrive? What should i do to make it match correctly? Also when the status showed TPM active, is the status accurate?
The worst case, if i have to get the sensor out of my stock ones, and have them install it on my current one. That means that they have to remount, rebalance, reinstall.... sounds quite a bit of work. What you guys think the shop normally would charge for it? Thanks alot for your time and help FAM!!! |

Unfortunately your F30 will not recognize E90 sensors. You will continue to get this error. You will need to swap your sensors over or purchase new sensors.
