Weird shadow coming from xenon headlights

Does anybody know what causes this shadow/reflection from the xenon beam? (yellow ish shield shape)

I appreciate the housing is dirty as hell, I blame the weather.

It appears on both sides too.

It can't be normally surely? I tried taking the bulb out and reinserting it just in case there was something in the way or if it wasn't seated properly.. still the same though.

I don't know if you have BMW still under warranty but, IF you have Stress fractures they will replace your whole headlight set for free, It looks like dirt but also might have small hair line fractures.

This line (and many others like it?) if so I think this is part of the design, when I first saw it I thought it had cracked however when running my nail across it I found it was just a ridge on the housing.

The line is normal part of design, But if you have stress fractures which are almost smooth but they were like spider line cracks, and I had my head lights fully replaced free of cost. if they give you some crap tell them you also spoke to BMW UK i guess where your from, and they will and should replace it if its under warranty. hope this helps i will also try to post a pic of my headlights so show you better what i mean. cheers mate
