Front rubbing steering at full lock both direction

Hi all,

I recently ditched my rft for mpss. I moved from my oem set up of front 225/45/80 & rear 255/40/18 to F 235/40/19 & rear 265/35/19.

No rubbing issue but notice at the front, when the steering is at full lock at either direction, there is some slight rubbing coming from inside of the wheel well.

Anyone experienced this? any fix for it

Thanks.

I have the slightest rubbing too.

Here is my set-up.

FYI, I have spacers on there too.

OEM = Bridgestone Potenza S-001 RFT

FF 225/40/19 Diameter = 26.1", Revs / Mi. 798

RR 255/35/19 Diameter = 26", Revs / Mi. 801

________________________________

+1 = Michelin Pilot Super Sport NON-RFT

FF 235/40/19 Diameter = 26.4", Revs / Mi. 787

RR 265/35/19 Diameter = 26.3", Revs / Mi. 790

Not too concerned with the slight rubbing on the inner fender liner.

Great stuff. Thanks.

Does the spacer use eliminate the rubbing? my concern is actually if my rubbing is coming from the inner side of the wheel against the suspension structure .....

I seriously doubt your rubbing anywhere on the inside of the tire / wheel on suspension components.

The fender liner rubbing is only slight on our car.

Yeah if you look at the tire in relation to the fender liner there is very little room at full lock so any deviation from the stock tire sizes to something larger will cause rubbing. As mentioned, not a big deal though.

Thanks all for your comments.

As an update to all, I sent my car in to fix the H&R sway bars and post installation, a wheel alignment was required. The problem with slight rubbing at steering full lock (while it wasnt serious but annoying enough) at the fender line was eliminated.

The wheel guy adjusted the chamber slightly towards more +ve (didnt have the exact number)..

Now the car feels so much closer to how I want it to be
