Help with winter tire size

Needing your help on winter tire size:

Car: 2015 435 Xi Gran Coupe with M sport brake DHP

Wheel: Apex Ec-7 18 x 9 ET 42

Tire: my question is what size I should choose; square setup

will 225/45/18 fits or I need to go with 235?

Thank you all!

Why not use the OEM wheels for winter tires and use those nice APEX wheels for a summer set up?

That's what I am doing.

For the OEM M Sport F18x8 R18x8.5 wheels, I'm running 235/45/18 and 245/45/18 Michelin X-Ice Xi3 tires. You could consider preserving the understeer nature of the OEM size for the winter and then running your square setup in the summer for a more neutral feel.

Thank you for the suggestion, that can be one of solutions. For some reason, I though OEM wheel is better lol.
