MPE Tips?

So - Which Tips??

Old School Thin - Chrome

New School - Chrome

New School - CF

Hi I have a quick question. I am looking to order the m performance exhaust and have found an older version with chrome tips already attached and a newer version with the tips separate (chrome or cf). My question is are the Crome tips the same or are they thinner on the older version? I can save about $200 on the older version, but for some reason thought the tips were really thin.

Notice the difference.

The old tips are not the same. The new ones are clamped on to the exhaust. The new tips are also sold separately. The prices come out to about $170 for a pair of chrome tips (335i) or $460 for the chrome with carbon fiber tips.

If you like the cost savings, while having the nicer tip (imo) then go for the MPE Chrome.

The CF ones are hugely overpriced imo, you can put that cash towards something else on your car.

I have the new chrome tips. Just one thing - from far you can't really tell the difference to stock tips imo, but when you get up close you can see the difference, the extra protrusion of the MPE, and the M logo laser engraved on the tips.

If you really want something that can be noticed from further back, I guess you would go with the CF tips.

I know. My point was about the styling.

At just $200 extra, it's a no brainer for me. CF tips. I say do the MPE+CF

I don't understand why some people are saying that that's a HUGE markup for CF tips while diffusers over 1k is okay. After all, CF diffusers are just cosmetic as well.

Going with CF tips - mainly cause I can't seem to spell "crome"
