Unhappy Regular double-ticking in Neutral

Hi all,

I have a problem with the car when in Neutral. There is a relatively strong double-ticking noise coming from somewhere under the car - might be the DCT, or something else. It does not seem to happen in Parking mode, or in Drive mode however, and I have listened carefully - however it happens at relatively regular time intervals (a few seconds apart, maybe 30 seconds or so? have not measured exactly) in Neutral mode.

Please hear the noise while the engine is running at idle, in Neutral, here:
(around second 4 is when the double-ticking is clearly heard!)

Please help to identify the potential root of the problem, if possible. Many thanks!

You may think that at "around second 4 is when the double-ticking is clearly heard!", but not on my computer.

Please listen carefully. Around second 4, there is a tick-tick-tick sound (three ticks). It's very easily heard in the video. This happens, in Neutral (N), every 25-30 seconds approximately.

I also checked the oil level in the gearbox, all is perfectly normal.

Turns out the problem is in the gearbox itself - don't know what it is exactly, just a mechanic took a listen. Already on my way to order a new gearbox for the car.

Sound is audible on downshifts, or when in N, or when shifting from N to D, or from D to N, or D to P. Does not happen on upshifts, or when toggling Sport Mode.
