Key fob in, no response.

One day worked fine next day key fob in, no start.

Code A0B9 cas hall sensor, key eject
A0BA cas hall sensor start stop button

Bought 2nd hand key slot, fitted, no difference, dead.

Cleared codes, A0B9 comes back, with car on ramp.

Going to try 2nd push button.

Initially thought it was a dead key fob, but tried the 2nd one, same reaction.

Charged up battery and has been disconnected for a few hours, hoping might have reset.

Any ideas folks.

So what did i do before it failed.
I operated the roof to lift the trunk to get at the top rear mounts to replace the rear shocks.
I ran out of time having done one side and closed everything up for the night.
Next day, dead.

I can still lock car, open boot, but no ign. on. (Believe what BMW call term 15 on).
