2022 Porsche Panamera facelift
Such a great vehicle. It's on my wish list but SWMBO wants something with more "utility"...
https://www.carindigo.com/news/2022-...tures-pictures What’s new in the 2022 Porsche Panamera? The 2022 Porsche Panamera is expected to be the same model essentially but offers significant improvements over its predecessor. Among the most expected improvements is the infotainment system which shall receive an interface update. Along with that, the Panamera is also expected to get wireless Android Auto as well as Apple CarPlay with the latest infotainment unit. According to most rumors, the car will also see an improvement with a hybrid powertrain which is expected to get a bigger battery pack as well as a more powerful electric motor. Notable specification and features of the 2022 Porsche Panamera include: Refreshed infotainment interface Wireless Android Auto and Apple car play New color options Minor exterior changes Release Date Porsche has not revealed any release date for the 2022 Porsche Panamera yet, but we expect it to launch in the US market near the end of the year, 2021. |

I agree. They looked cool on the 911TT many years ago, before LED's were on Corollas, but it's time for something new.

Agree, although the new one is a lot more insulated and numb compared to the old and ugly one sadly. This is probably the one Porsche vehicle I wouldn't take over its competitors.

Probably one of the last updates before it’s replaced by Taycan. It has to be the slowest selling Porsche despite how awesome it is. I really like them but a Cayenne has a bit more utility and can be just about as fast and capable.
But if you want a limo that isn’t a Maybach, the Panamera Executive is very nice. |

Porsche needs to ditch the Panamera and introduce a 3-series sized ICE sport sedan.
One can dream?

I have often thought about how amazing that would be but I assumed that would never happen because this car may hurt Audi's sales in the A4/5 segment. Just a guess.

For the enthusiasts who need 4 doors but don't want a CUV/Macan.
So yes 3 of us.

I don't think that's the reason. The Macan and Q5 are in the same segment as are Cayenne and Q7. Doesn't seem to be hurting either model's sales.

Porsche had planned on the possibility of a smaller compact/mid-sized sedan to be under the Panamera years ago. It was called the Pajun and it was all over the rumor mill. Eventually it got delayed, and was delayed again to help Porsche bolster VAG's profits, eventually SUV's starting growing exponentially, then EV's started happening, and in the midst of Dieselgate I'm sure the plans for the Pajun were scrapped in favor of the Mission-E Concept which became the Taycan.

This car is really hard for me to like because the Porsche badge pricing puts it too close to some much more desirable cars. You pick a Pana 4, change the color, pick non ugly wheels and you're at 98k. Then you put a few options at it and you're at 108k. But you can get a well optioned 63s Wagon for 118k. And now a RS6 wagon as well.
