if you say so... there's no date on it, which is why you can't be sure.

I was worried that I when the time came to replace my 2005 Z4 I would not have to move on to the 2009 Z4 or to Porsche. I hope everything comes true and BMW builds the Z2.

According to the Roundel the weight of the Roadster will be at 2,200 pounds. And the top of the line will be a 2.0 Liter Turbo. I personally think it's the Twin Turbo 4cyl that was mentioned over a year ago.

The pic above does look a hell of a lot better.
As for the Miata, to me, it's too damn tiny on the inside, as was the S2K. I'm hoping the Z2 is a better fit. Looking forward to driving this vs. the Mini Roadster coming out next year; I'm assuming that the Roadster will be cheaper and more practical, but that the Z2 will have other advantages, mostly rear wheel drive and a better looking package. Should be fun to find out. |

I agree, the s2000 was tight, and they very reason I never ever considered the car in the first place.

Just hoping that the Z2 would be a similar fit as the Z3 was (maybe a bit tighter, which would still be fine, esp. if weight is minimized with the reduced size), which was fine for me. |

Sounding very good. Then the question for me would be Z2 or try to find an unmolested M Roadster in good condition with few clutch dumps ( a difficult task in 1-2 years, I'd imagine). With European Delivery (and possible Performance Center delivery 6 weeks later) in Summer 2012, this would be awesome. |

There are a few super nice Z4m's on Autotrader. Some with really low miles too!

I haven't had one breakdown yet this year on the Benz (best year of all of 8 so far). I'm hoping it can ride it out at least another year or two - three would be pushing it, though. The Z4s will continue to depreciate nicely in the meantime.

Electric Z2? Ewwww
I'll still take an internal combustion engine, with it's whine and revving, any day over an electric engine - the best those things can do is have a tape recorder installed to play back what an engine should sound like. Anyone with an electric car outside the Peoples Republic of Calif. can enjoy their 100 mile range and anxiety over being stranded when they run outta juice. |

If you're going to spam a site, at least go to one that has actual traffic.
Having said that, hopefully there will be some update in the next couple of months. |
