2011 35is parking sensors

I cannot find where you turn on these parking sensors. It has the places on the front and rear bumpers where the sensors would be, but there is no button next to the top up/down buttons. Is there somewhere else that you turn the sensors on, or does mine just not have them?

Sounds like it doesn't have them. I find them rubbish anyway, mine seem a bit slow, I've actually reversed into a large plant pot before the sensors warned me it was there.

Someone has either changed the bumpers or the switch panel.
I take it you don't hear the "bongs" when in reverse then?
If that's the case then it's probably the bumpers that have been changed.
Unless they are aftermarket reverse sensors that have been fitted?

Not necessarily, but may have.
If you place your VIN into the site > http://bimmer.work/ then you’ll find all the options that the car came with.
For PDC you are looking for 507 (rear only) and 508 (front and rear), if neither of those are present then you don’t have OE PDC.

Hope that helps

Got curious, and bimbled down to the garage to check the switch position and icon. Just on the off-chance someone replaced either the switch panel or that particular switch, try pushing the button immediately to the left of the top controls. My (early) 35is does have the 508, but I keep it turned off.

The parking sensor switch on mine is right next to the convertible top switch.

Yea I saw that online…I guess mine doesn’t have them. Even though it had the little square things on both bumpers
