Rolling with a decades-long fave here this evening. It's an appetizer first enjoyed at Chez Panisse in Berkeley and later published in one of the restaurant's first cookbooks: Grilled Tuna and Red Onion Salad.

I've included the recipe for those chefs and chefettes who might enjoy seeing how easy the prep is as well as how much flavor the dish offers for so little work. Hopefully, the holder(s) of the publishing rights aren't too upset by this.

The accompanying wine will be added to the Wine Thread.

Saw a recipe pipe thru on my YouTube feed I had to try. I added some cubed ham to it. Mac n cheese in Phyllo dough pastry. It was yummy! Had a Turkey bacon cheeseburger and char grilled veggies to go with it.

Had to do it. Pepperoni, Canadian bacon, applewood smoked bacon, red pepper, onion with Mozzarella and Parmigian cheese. I added some mushrooms for Mrs H. I went heavier on the sauce this time than last time. Must admit, not a fan. Still yummy.
