Literally impossible to bet on something like this without knowing how each team is going to deal with new regulations.

Almost any of these drivers can win championship if a team finds a loophole. Like Brawn's double diffuser.

The car is more important than the driver.

While you may be correct... there is no way in hell I'd put any money on any of the bottom six winning the WDC.

So if you bet $100 on every single driver you would only lose 50%+ on 3 of the drivers?

Not certain I follow your question but if $100 were placed on Hamilton and he became WDC, the bettor would win $100...if $100 were bet on Mazepin and he became WDC, that bettor would win $100,000.

Sorry, my question is why wouldn't you just bet on $100 on each person? Most you would lose would be $1,900 if say Hamilton won. $1775 if Verstappen wins, $1500 if Russell and so on. Once you hit Sainz you start making over your $2000 wager. So only 4 do you lose money...if they lose. Any other 16 drivers and you win. Tempting to just blow the money and do it lol

We should come back to this when the season is over and see how we would have done.

if this is the case, i would just bet on the top 8 (up to Lando Norris), i would lose less and win more. what do you think?

Don't bet on Hamilton, it's not known if he's coming back yet

i think if LH is not coming back, all bets on him will be refunded since he doesn't compete

Hmmm it's really only out of Lewis (should he choose to compete), Max or George for the 2022 WDC, the rest are unfortunately just 'also-rans'

Current (March 7). Money being placed on Charles...wonder if it's "smart money". Added the lines for Manufacturers.

While the thread may be a year old, the excitement around Formula 1 and sports betting is timeless. It's interesting to look back at those 2022 WDC betting odds and see how the season played out. George Russell's odds at +500 must have caught the attention of many fans.
If you're still interested in sports betting, even beyond Formula 1, you can explore NHL streak for the cash. It's a great way to stay engaged with sports and potentially make some winning picks.
Thanks for sharing these odds, and I hope you've had some successful bets since then!
