Boot release button
Can anyone explain why there is no boot release button in the new z4?
There's even a space for where it would go, and it's mentioned in the owners handbook! Otherwise...great car! |

In the owner's manual it is specified as optional (with an asterisk). Since there is no option you can order to get it, I can only assume it is depending on your country. |

How odd - my previous z4 had one as standard.
So if you shut the boot with the key inside then you are stuck I presume? It's also useful to be able to open the boot for someone else (i.e. passenger) who is getting in or out of the car without having to take the key out and press the key's boot release button. |
