Hungary Qualifying

Lewis Hamilton is, quite simply, the GOAT. The qualifying session was sublime and he took a car that was wholly unsuitable for the track and stuck it on pole with a .260 second margin!!

I am just very surprised that Verstappen didn't get pole, or at least front row.

Anyway, really happy Hamilton got pole in the end.

Compaired with the Mercs and Ferrari's , Max already won races in his Red Bull Renault with +/- 75 HP less . And 18 km/u less of topspeed .

"Mercedes might have track position at this stage after locking out the front row, but Ferrari have a record of making good starts and now boast what many believe is the strongest power unit on the grid, so it remains all to play for on the opening lap at least."

just watched LH explain his qualifying lap and the lines he took. he just has a way of finding where the grip is.

it looks like a hot day for the race. I think it'll be hard to keep Ferrari from winning. but a good start will keep the Mercs in the game.

Red Bull are parting company with Renault at the end of the season and switching to Honda engines next year.

Yup, they have announced this e few weeks ago already.

I don't think Honda is much better at the moment than Renault. I think it's more a case of RB not able to work with Renault anymore.

Also, with Honda, RB will be more of a works team than they are now. I just hope Honda give them the engine they need, so we can have a 3 way battle for the title next year.

Indeed . Let us hope that the Honda engine is better and more reliable , but they should keep the chassis .
Yeah . I agree , a 3 way battle would be very nice to watch

Today in F1 are *No equal weapons*
