Replacing Brake Wear Sensor Wire

In the process of replacing pads with lower dusting, putting on drilled, slotted rotors. Everything going quite well but can't disconnect the brake sensor wire from it's location under the hood.

Has anyone done this that would have some tips on how the connection is made? I can see it and sorta touch it but can't get a grip on it to see how the connection is made.

Google doesn't yield any results that shed light on how to do this.

Thanks

I remember it was a tricky one

for sure start at the top and tie the new sensor's bottom end to the old to pull it in while removing the old wire

A member of the German ZRoadster site was able to send a link to the E89 repair manual that showed how to access.
If anyone needs info let me know
