Z4 E89 23i - Self Mods

Hey There!

I got my dream car Z4-E89 on 1st Jan 2021. It is 23i S Drive, 2009 model but had done only 13000 miles. I couldn't resist grabbing.

The car when I bought from the previous owner had everything as stock from the factory. The below are the mods I have done over the period of 8 months and I truly enjoy driving this car.

I am sharing a picture of before and after mods so that you can see a little modification can make such a difference;

Mods have done so far;
- Remapped, Stage 1, V.2 (I get 245 bhp now from the original 208 specs)
- Dashboard changed to carbon fiber from the boring silver look inside.
- Antenna changed to a smaller version
- Angel eyes, pure white DRL
- Black grill replaced from chrome
- iDrive (Aftermarket) with Apple Car Play
- Remus exhaust
- Original wheels painted to black
- Indicators were replaced and painted black
- Underseat 6inches sub (2 units)
- Smarttop installed, one toch (No longer need to hold the button to operate the roof)

I plan to lower the car and add a lower lip along with few other mods friends here might suggest. Please share your comments;

Off to a good start!

As with any car, a good lowering and aftermarket wheels would do wonders! If you're staying with stock shocks I'd highly recommend Eibach springs. Aren't as low as H&R, but ride better.

Can you post link as to where you got the aftermarket iDrive? Also does your shorter aerial work ok? Changed mine recently and lost pretty much every station!!

Enjoy the mods…I and most N52 engine owning Z4s are extremely impressed with your power gains…that must be a world record 🙈😂👌
