Did you switch the picture algorithm back? Uploads now via the app are back to poor quality. Here's the app vs website upload.

Ok I just put a new release in the Play Store. It’s still called 5.5.4, but it is available now, try checking the play store to see if it lets you do an update. If not, it might take another hour to get to your local store, see if that version gives you as better image quality?

For sure the image quality was not great on the latest version, so I tweaked it and I saw an improvement on my test images
