Interior Trim Replacements
I'm thinking about possibly going with the Walnut interior on white, but I don't really like any of the interior trims with it. Ash grain is somewhat OK, but I'm not crazy about it. I wonder if these are made after market, out of quality woods?

I think he means Alpine White exterior over Walnut leather.

Yes, walnut interior, but I'm not crazy about the ash grain trim. Anthricite is great, but not offered with walnut. White/white, no way. I have to see the red interior in person. I already know I like the white exterior.

I stayed away from the white interior because I didnt want a grey interior in the long run.
I wished I had the wood trim though. I'll enquire with BMW as to the cost of buying the OEM wood, will post here once I find out.

-Drive door -Left Dash -Mid-Dash -Console -Passenger Door Did they indicate how much to install? Is it possible to do an order override on a factory order? The reason I ask is because I really like the look of the new Extended Walnut leather with Ash Grain trim, but the M Sport pac is available only with the "M Interior trim Aluminum Carbon Shadow". Not to knock it, as it does look cool , but I prefer the other combination. The bummer is that it's optionally available on the 35is, which is shown the photos below. . Maybe someone can chime in with part #'s and I can find out the individual cost. You may be able to trade with someone that wants the aluminum carbon fiber trim with their ash grain.

True. You can polish scratches out though, similar to clear coat using the same products. Lots of YouTube vids on this. I used to polish mine once a year and whenever I waxed the car, I’d put the same paint sealant on the wood trim and that did help keep the trim from looking beat up. Could never get it to brand new condition though...
