Rear brakes sticking!

Whenever I come to a stop, my rear passenger brake will stick. As I accelerate from a stop, it will eventually break free only to stick again at the next stop.

Anyone experience this?
Is this a brake issue or an electric e-brake issue?

How many miles on existing brakes (rear)? Do you hear both drivers and passenger e-bakes engage and disengage? Is the caliper mounting bolts tight, no play? If sounds normal the first thing I would do is drop caliper and clean and re-grease pins.

I would second the suggestion above. If that doesn't fix it, it's most likely a bad caliper, they tend to get a slight bit of rust on the piston from the moisture content of the brake fluid since its hygroscopic.

not sure on 'miles on existing pads', since we just purchased the vehicle 2 months ago.

the pads are thin and new pads are on the way. I'm confident it is the rear pax side as we had the wheel off and the rotor would not turn (in neutral, no parking brake and driver side rotated easily).

i hear both driver/pax side e-brakes engage. I removed the pins yesterday, removed the e-motor and reinstall (still sticking).

Sounding like caliper. Did you pull the caliper when you pulled pins? Were you able to freely slide assembly on pins (off rotor)? were you able to push piston in after winding back e-brake?
