Heated Seats

I am guessing that the previous owner of my car only used it for the summer months, because today in New York I could have used heated seats. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can get Heated seats installed in the car and about how much it would be?

Change the seats, add the switches, code the car - easier to buy a car with them.

I would say about $2,000 to get used seats and have someone do what Lurcher said.

Or you can remove the seats and the seat covers and add after market seat heaters and add switches into the console somewhere.

OK. Thanks. That is just what I was looking for. Some opinions on price and difficulty. Looks like I will have to deal with a cold tush in the winter.

If you don't mind the look of these in your car during the winter, this is an easy and cheap option.

Here is a project I did for adding heat to my rear seats in an E60:

If you're interested in aftermarket options (cool thing here is you can pick non-OEM colors/stitching, etc) you can buy heated and ventilated leather seat covers from groups like katzkins or leatherseats.com. Even massaging seats.

Honestly I'd probably go this route and get an OEM heating button (if it works with these). I don't dislike them but the leather in my Z has never exactly blown my mind. The seat heating buttons are 3-steppers for each seat that sit in the console above the gear shifter.

Wow! Nice options. Something I will definitely look into as soon as I have some extra cash.
