These are direct replacements.

Oh!! I was looking at those last week! How is the quality? I wanted to get the mirror caps and the cf roll bar. I wasn't sure about how the quality is though and hesitated to make the purchase! LMK your findings and cant wait to see the end result!

I just had the 3D front lip installed. I am waiting for mirror caps to come in tomorrow or Wednesday. I'll keep you posted.

I originally bought the $95 chinese mirror caps on ebay that someone else on this forum recommended. I didn't even put them on. They install on top of your mirror caps. I didn't like the fit. You can still see some of the original on some edges. It definitely was not a perfect design. Then again, they were only $95!

Awesome set-up.

As for wheels color, I think black is perfect for grey cars. Gunmetal seems a bit too matchy-matchy with Space Grey. Yeah I know coming from a guy with a black on black set-up but I personally think that iswine color it can go hand in hand and go stealth. A brushed aluminum/brushed silver might look good with Space Grey though. I think your first set up looks good with the matte black wheels, just needs a little drop?

Definitely keep us posted with your decision, please.

I like the Tekarbon quality better than the eBay ones. It looks like they used the OEM mirror caps and refinished it with Carbon Fiber. It was a bit more difficult to replace than on my M3, as it takes a lot of force to get them caps off with my fingers.

I'm going to resell the ebay ones for $75. Never used or installed. Has the 3M tapes in place and ready for install.

Here are the results using iPhone camera (looks better in person):

I saw these, but I think they may look tacky: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Carbon-Fiber...ht_1409wt_1072

The eyebrows will look tacky in your white Z4. I like the CF mirrors, works well with the look, a subtle visual upgrade.

Thanks guys! Much appreciated

yea the eyebrows would definitely look tacky! Do you think the cf mirrors will look good with my space gray? Im on the fence about it! Also did you get it for the same price they are selling them for on their website or do they reduce the price? I'm really contemplating getting the cf roll bar and the mirrors! So do you think its a worthwhile mod for the cash? Im not sure how the mirrors will look on the gray. Also the cf rollbars will be nice since i hate the silver oem ones...

I think the CF mirrors will look good with any colors since the mirror assembly (where the caps are connected) is black and the windshield pillar is black as well so it works well w/o being disconnected to the car.

+1 I think it will look great with your car. The pattern is a little bigger than the 3D Design CF, but it still works.

Unfortunately the price is as is in their website. It was cheaper than the ones for the M3 OEM CF mirrors at $700. The BMW OEM CF mirrors for the M3 are made of all Carbon Fiber. They were extremely light and thin.

Thanks for the no eyebrows comments!

If you had a CF hood, it might work. However, a CF hood on our car that isn't black might look weird since it extends toward the fender so 3/4s of it will be CF.
CF hood would break the lines from the hood to the front emblem if it isn't black.

I think I'm done with CF mods and stick with what I have now. The hood is a bit much. Subtle looks best.

Brembo or performance brakes will be forthcoming....

Cars going to look great with them on. Please share your experience with the ride quality, I'm considering the KW V1 myself but do not really want a rough ride.
