Yes, I cannot imagine what Michel has been through with even more ahead. They have a young son who must be around two now. A damn shame how it seems to be the good people who get taken to soon...

I couldn't make it but we have a big festival here in N.O. called VooDoo Fest, a weekend long music festival in early November. Pearl Jam played the opening night with Gleason on stage and choosing the set list for the show. Heard it was awesome, just wish I could have been there...

Best quote I've heard in a long time, trying to explain why Seattle fans get so loud when the Hawks are good:

"Rooting for Seattle sports teams has always been especially irrational. It’s like watching a rain-streaked window in the hopes that our absentee alcoholic father will come home for Christmas"

They are loud regardless of whether the team is good or not.

I think it's in Arizona. Super Bowl 50 (Feb 2016) will be at Levi Stadium.

SO anyone think we will see a ruling on Jeremy Lane taking a forearm to the neck on the 9er sideline? Or is it going to be swept under the rug since the Hawks won. Latest I heard is that Harbaugh said it didn't happen, that Lane ran into his player......

It's most telling 1/2 speed.

Very clear to me. The actually drops his shoulder and slams him with his elbow, very evident at 1/2 speed. Not only that but Lanes neck snaps back at the point of impact and it's pretty clear from the dudes body posture that he's pretty pleased with what he just did.

Guess I'm the only one that cares.

Like you said, they won't do anything about it because the Seahawks won. And none of the Niners fans here care because they are still too busy hating on Sherman.

Classic Lynch. Hawks fans could give a crap if he talks to the media. It's the media itself that gets all kinds of butt hurt when he doesn't talk to them.

haha...Steve Gleason (via NWF) announced on FB today that he is the Man of the Year in N.O.

He managed to say it in a way that strongly emulated Sherman's rant towards Crabtree. I find that rather funny considering how Gleason came up in this thread.

Good for him! Steve has embraced New Orleans and New Orleans has embraced him...
