the one touch moving top operation is easy - SmartTop sold by EAS; I have it and it works great, plus it has some other cool features.
HUD would be awesome with the NAV in my wife's c ar |

I have a launch vehicle and it was not fully-equipped like iDrive, cold-weather package, and PDC. Looking back, I was like why didn't BMW launch with everything on it and I could have done an ED, but that is not something I can easily go out and do it at that time.
Anyways, the other stuff like HUD, built-in functions like SoftTOP does, internet, etc are cool. Maybe a A/C seats would be nice. My old 2009 Expedition EL Limited had that. Because of limited sun and unpredictable showers we have in Alaska, a fixed sunroof on the hard top with the sliding interior cover would be nice to let the extra light in. If BMW could have have the PDC to be concealed like I had on old Expedition with rear sonar, that would be great also and not distracting the body lines. Fully LED taillamps that would include the brake lights would be cool as well as LED parking lamps/blinkers in front. I would also like the amber LED blinkers instead of red one we have in US. Maybe European models have amber... If there a song on the radio that I like, I would like to be able to tag it like the Ford's upcoming SYNC MyFord/MyLincoln Touch. Having a ability to change the ambient lighting colors would be cool. Windshield washers built-in on the wiper arms, rather than on the hood. Complete auto tint on the side mirrors, rather than leaving a 1/4" all around. AWD with height-adjustable suspension controls with 10" of clearance max |

I wish I had one-touch operation of the roof-top as well as side mirrors that can be automatically folded/unfolded when you shut/start engine. Ability to manage NAV system (to add custom POIs to system, to have ability to select appropriate voice for voice assistance, to select a voice assistance language, etc.) would be very desirable as well, especially along with a better ability to manage a music collection on the car's hard drive.

HUD and ACC (Active Cruise Control). These features were great on my previous 650i especially in traffic.

Although I've only had the car for a couple of days...
- +1 on 1touch top operation - Better (more Apple-like) music/movie integration - I wish there was an easier way to get to the (limited) storage area behind the seats. Using the seat motor to do this seems silly. - Park Distance Control w/o bumper dimples. (I wanted this option... but think the dimples steal from the car's beauty... so I skipped it) So far... that's about it...

My car is pretty much loaded, but the only option that I did not choose and wish I did, is the comfort access. I didn't realize how convenient it is until I drove the loaner they gave me when my car was having the rear fuel pump replaced. To even be able to operate the top from outside the car is a plus.
The only other option that I did not order and still do not want is the PDC. I don't care about that option and agree with Darb that the round indentations on the bumpers spoil the look of the car.
