Laker > Nuggets in 6

Cavs > Magic in 5

And the winner is.....

Cavs > Lakers in 7

The ironic thing is that Lakers beat Celtics both times in regular season.

I surely hope it's L.A. and Cavs, it will be an interesting series.

i dont see too much irony in that. Regular season don't really mean much, playoff is a diff season in itself. without KG, this Celtics team really isnt the same obviously.
If the Lakers lose again this year then it wont really matter because it just shows they can't beat either the Celtics nor Cavs. It's must win for the Lakers or else i don't know what they going to do with this supposely the most talented team on the planet. I sure hope it's Lakers vs Cavs though.. it will be epic battle.

on a side note, can you imagine if Lebron, and not Kobe, is on the Lakers team? i think they woulda won 75+ games and sweep through the whole playoff regardless of who they play against. that's not a knock on Kobe (ok, maybe a lil), but a big compliment to Lebron and how he elevates his team..seems like his teamates all love him. Im not so sure Kobe's teamates really like him at all.. but that's another story.

Regular season means everything. If it doesn't mean much, then why not just win enough games to make the 8th seeder spot? Home court advantage means so much to the teams, even a high school squad will tell you that.

I don't really care if Lakers win or not. They already got a grip of titles. Hell, Celtics and Lakers alone hold half of the titles in NBA's history.

Good game none the less.. I expect the Nuggets and Cavs to come out playing better in Game 2..

The Cavs just need to switch up their line ups..ilgauskas just can't guard Dwight and Varajao can not guard Lewis.

I don't think the Cavs have anyone to guard Dwight. Dude is built like a Greek warrior that's nearly 8' tall. To guard him, it'll be have to be a mental game, in which Perkins did a good job of. His dunks shake the backboard apparatus like no other, and it's designed to take a lot of pressure!
