What a start this has been! We are excited to see many cars on our new forged wheels. Our friend Dan (@danavon7) brought out his track-prepped E46 M3 to see what our new ARC-8R forged wheels were all about. As a current owner of multiple sets of ARC-8 flow formed wheels, Dan was excited for the opportunity to try out the next evolution of the classic ARC-8 design. Armed to the teeth with a PFC 355mm BBK, the new ARC-8R had no issues providing more than enough real estate for the brakes on this track weapon to breathe comfortably.

During the development of our new forged wheels, we knew that our classic EC-7 design was the ideal choice to lead with for our initial release. Our flow formed EC-7 wheels have been a fan favorite in the enthusiast community for a while now, so when tasked with evolving the timeless design for a forged application, we knew we couldn’t leave anything on the table with the EC-7R.

While aesthetics are very important to us, we believe that functionality should always come first. With the EC-7R, many of the design changes from the original were made purely in the pursuit of that next level of performance. With the additional strength from the EC-7R’s forged construction, we were able to remove significant material from the sides of each spoke. Not only did this help shave even more mass from the already lightweight wheel, but it left the EC-7R with a distinguished and tasteful “I” beam spoke design that looks at home both on the street and at the track.

With over 100 people interested in the 18” forged group buy, we are incredibly excited to see the popularity of our new ARC-8R and EC-7R wheels growing each day. We highly recommend that you get your pledge in early, as we will be allocating design and color preferences in chronological order, and there is a possibility that some sell out. “Am I able to purchase an additional 5th wheel along with the set of 4 that I have already pledged to?”

Yes! We are now offering a 5th wheel add-on to our current forged Group Buys. If you are looking to add a 5th wheel to your pledge, you must contact us directly using the “Message Vendor” function on the deal. Please keep in mind that there are some limitations for purchasing a 5th wheel:

The wheel will be available for purchase at the standard MSRP, not the discounted Group Buy price. Free shipping does apply to those located in the continental U.S.

Our original flow formed ARC-8 was our first wheel design, and utilizes an older barrel profile that can have compromised brake clearance with certain BBK setups. With the forged ARC-8R, we took everything we learned from the original ARC-8 and applied it to the ground-up development of our all-new profiles and dies. This resulted in a tremendous increase in brake clearance when compared to the flow formed design, with an inner barrel that can clear all the way up to the colossal 380mm Brembo BBK with ease.

To help show off our new 18” ARC-8R forged wheels, our friend Daniel (@dsc_lol) stopped by our shop with his Yas Marina F82 M4 track car for a photoshoot. Mounting the 18x10” ET25 ARC-8R wheels over the massive Brembo 380mm BBK on this M4 was a breeze. With the dramatically increased barrel clearance that the ARC-8R brings to the table, these new forged wheels are able to go where our original flow formed ARC-8 wheels never could.
