Dash Trim Kits

Anyone try one of the dash trim kits?

Remin makes kits that look decent. They do state however that overlays like these don't cover completely and you might need to fill in edges with a black magic marker. Kinda concerning
I've got the aluminum carbon shadow trim. Never really cared for it.

Thoughts. Certainly don't want to make it look cheap.

Looking for a project. Going to have lots of time on my hands like everyone else.

I wouldn't risk using any aftermarket trim kits. You generally get what you pay for. Any kit that requires you to use a magic marker because the manufacturer admits it does not fit is an automatic NO. Magic marker on a $60k BMW? You gotta be kidding me.

If you're going to make a trim change, I say do it right and use genuine BMW parts only. It may be more expensive, but you'll be happier in the long run.

Thanks 7th. I guess I just needed someone to validate my hesitation on getting something that in the end will cheapen things.
