NEED INPA for E89 Fuel Injector Coding.

Hi I'm a noob and recently bought a 2009 35i last October.

I have been searching and trying all the different links to download INPA and all the necessary files needed to get it running including reading through the DIY instructions out there. Most links are no longer active and others simply time out.

Can someone PM the necessary working links needed that I can download? I'm only looking to code my replacement fuel injectors. Still running on INDEX 5's. They're cheap and still running strong. INDEX 12's will be when it's hibernating.

Thanks

Foxwell NT510 (Schwaben via ECS) will code injector indicies. For $140, well worth it, since it will do all kinds of other things as well for your BMW's.

Unless you are doing lots of screwing around with your car, setting up INPA, et cetera (IMHO) doesn't seem to be worth the headache. But YMMV ...

Agree with the 510 recommendation. I have the ECS branded unit.

Well mostly dummy proof. I had to dig up a Windows image to update my firmware. But yeah, BQ is right ...

Yes I do use it,and for other things like OBD-II. Hard to beat for the price. Just stays in the car in its pouch.

Seller on ebay told me Foxwell 520 cannot do fuel injector coding so I spent some time getting INPA to work. I downloaded INPA package from beemergeeks (which has E89 support). Their install instruction was easy to follow, just remember to run command prompt with admin rights. I used windows 7 32 bit with cheap INPA cable from ebay (pin 7 & 8 are not shorted). I had error 100 when trying to read fuel injector calibration value. Was able to see the ignition and battery on with black dot. It turned out my JB4 was causing the trouble so I temporarily removed it. Works after that. Reason why I'm looking at this thread because my Z decided not to start on one day, took very long cranks, sometime would not start. Once it started it would not rev above 3k, smells full of unburned gas. Check your oil cap, it also smells like gas. After doing some research online, it looks like it has bad fuel injectors. I'm replacing the index 9 fuel injectors with 12 so that's why I'm looking for a way to program in the fuel injector values for my E89. Finally got it to program in the fuel injector calibration values last night after a lot of tinkering with INPA software but it was worth it.

Hey nhatnguyen14, any chance you still have the INPA download files? Its no longer available in Beemergeeks, they shut it down. Found a site which has it, but its for E90. Installed a new FRM3 and it needs to be coded to our chassis.

I suspect the poster is long gone…4 years later and only a few posts..

Most downloads refer to E90 but usually cover E89s?

Another option is to code the new module with the bimmergeeks ProTool app
