yup, freaking freak athletes like kd and lb are scared of real competition. theyre already gifted with a build that gave them an advantage over the avg nba player yet chooses to team up with franchise players to win. lost all respect for these guys a while ago.

I think the warriors have done a great job in building and coaching this team.

But I think more of it is sheer dumb luck. You cannot sit here and tell me that anyone knew steph curry would have such a lethal range, or he would have been drafted higher, plain and simple.

Then we get to the fact that the money was available for KD. Well they have to thank some luck for signing steph curry for a smaller contract than he is truly worth due to his injury history. Then there is the salary cap explosion that they have some added wiggle room. No one on the core group was up for a new contract and KD became a free agent at the exact time, it's literally the perfect storm. So they grabbed him. In hindsight, losing that 3-1 lead might have been the best thing for them. It helped get KD and now they might not lose for 3 or more years. I don't think KD goes to the warriors if they beat the cavs last year.

The stars aligned for the warriors, there is no doubt. I hate them because they are so good just like I hate the patriots. But that doesn't mean it's ugly to watch. It's how other teams should try to play, sharing the ball makes it all that much easier for them.

All good points.

Really, these kinds of comments can be said about any winning team in any sport in any year. So while there is certainly elements of luck, crystal ball magic, and timing, the bottom line is they did it. The object is to win and they are winners.

I'm not saying they are the greatest ever. That would be foolish giving the great teams that have come before. But I will say this is one of the most remarkable performances of any team ever, regardless of sport.

ya no one knew curry was goona revolutionize the game like this with his range. as fans now well just watch the new guys develop and watch new super teams form. the youngest ball brother might be something to watch later, crazy range and scored 90+ in hs...the middle bro is pretty avg.

huh? before Curry, there were a lot of killer 3 point shooters that changed the way teams played their team...

I'm going to on out on a limb and guess you're probably born in the 90s and never watched Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, Steve Nash, Peja and Paul Pierce in their prime.

theres never been a markmans with the range of curry period, off the dribble left and right step back curry has it all. you have to be on him after the half court line, unlimited range opens up the floor for him and the rest of his mates. best shooter of all time.

all those players you mention never got close to the PER numbers like lebron and yet curry is the guy that challenged or beat him in PER ratings during his unanimous mvp run. all because of the way hes able to get a 3p shot off and ball handling skills/passing

lol there's never been huh? Dan Majerle use to define "from downtown". B/c he would make shots half way between 3 pt line and half court line.

shoot and make 3s from a long distance, pertaining to your assertion that Curry's distance is somehow never been seen before in the NBA

You make it sound like Curry revolutionized the 3 point shot or something. He's the best best on percentage....but that's it. There's been a ton of killer shooters out there. Overall package wise, I'll take Reggie Miller over your Curry any day of the week.

youre comparing dan to the greatest shooter of all times? and saying theres no difference in these 2 players? curry and the way GS is playing now is making big men basically obsolete in this era of nba. dan was never remotely close to a 40/50/90 guy in his PRIME
