Bimmer Plug awful

I recently got an M2C and my wife wanted to get me
a couple of things for the car and noticed Bimmer Plug came up when searching for parts. I ordered some new emblems and center caps for my car and also some carbon fiber eyelids.
I received the new emblems for my hood and trunk and also new center caps but not the eyelids as i wasn't sure when those would come in. There was no email about the process of how long it would take.
I haven't had time to pull the hood emblem out until a week ago and noticed the pegs were not the same on the hood as what I received from them. I asked for an exchange or credit for the hood and trunk emblem if i am able to get something different.
I've emailed them numerous times and it has been an absolute nightmare. The response in email is lacking and i have to email a second time for a response back.
They sent me a link about returns and refund policy and i am out of the 7 day window.
Not sure if anyone has handled anything with them and i should've done my research prior to purchasing anything from them.
My wife is really upset about the whole ordeal as we made a purchase thinking it would go smoothly and it has been exhausting.
Does anyone have any websites you all use to get parts?
Thank you in advance and sorry if this post is long.

They look legit, but sadly they are largely scammy. I had to dispute a charge on my cc with them in order to get my $ back. IND, x-ph, Euroklasse - to name a few - are legit vendors.

I'd never heard of these guys before. Just looked at the website - looks like a couple of flat brim vape bros setting up a "business" selling sketchy "mods".

Just dispute the charge with your CC company and move on, lesson learned. Don't trust anyone who's not a mainstream vendor that has an established track record.

KevinC's description "flat brim vape bros" has me laughing.

Yeah I'd dispute with my CC company.
ECS Tuning has been good to me, as have BimmerWorld

bro you to .. i ordered two exhaust tips at the beg of july they came 3 weeks later.. not only that .. 1 didnt fit and 1 of the carbon is off and looks faded to the other one. They are definitely buying from somewhere else and then re shipping it to the buyer and marking up the price on their website.
Worst part is i got a return approved to ship back from the defective parts .. and its been 3 weeks and i still havent got a refund .. and the guy is telling me hes going to charge me for a 25% restock fee ... wtf from defective parts ... shit is beyond terrible ... worst service i ever experienced shady people

Business is very shady. If you’re going to inspect the parts then do it right. Prices are ridiculously stupid and doesn’t fit correctly. Also if you’re going to return their item they’re going to reply with the “oh it’ll fit” or “please send pictures” just to make it harder for you to return.

I Too purchased the projector logo floor lights from Bimmer Plug and the harness would not connect into the lights connector. Complete garbage I had to fiddle with them 10-15 mins each for them to connect. Then one of the lights flicker when opening the door. Trash products I’m out couple hundred bucks. Never buying from them again.

It's Kevin, the owner of Bimmer Plug. Thank you for your order and initial trust; and I apologize for the not so good experience you've had with my business. Moving forward, we have made exceptions for returns and it looks like in your situation, we can definitely honor an exchange / return for the roundels that don't fit. Please contact us via email at support@bimmerplug.com, with your order # and mention that you were from BimmerPost, and we will help you get situated ASAP.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Kevin
I'm still waiting for my $437.06 refund, order #6642 from 8-25-22.

You shipped counterfeit / knockoff product that wasn't even the same spoiler style pictured in the item listing. It's been returned to you in as-new condition with the return shipping label you provided.

Euroklasse is legit. Highly recommend for San Diego area, but also for ordering parts. They helped me install a bunch of stuff on my 340 at the shop.

their customer service is about as good and honest as Mode Carbon. Rebranded cheap Alibaba or eBay junk.

No one ever asked for a "reshipment" much less one 40 days later.

You shipped counterfeit goods, and the wrong ones at that (listing photos and what showed up weren't even the same style spoiler)

I already purchased a Genuine product months ago from a legitimate vendor. Just refund my money.

Just because you buy crap made in China doesn’t mean “everything” is made there. Worst advice ever.

Hate to break it you buddy but even BMW OEM is china, and so is my thousand dollar iPhone in my hand. Nothing wrong with buying china. But when it is something as disposable as a CF lip then it’s kind stupid to buy OEM.

Also in this thread it is 100% certainty that mode carbon and bimmerplug are dropshippers with fancy websites. Nothing wrong with it, but I told people to buy direct as their return policies are a lot more lenient. But alas you word this as “worst advice ever” is anything I said wrong? I’m sure you think every supermarket is making their own store brand Oreos and colas right? And Costco is distilling vodka and making golf clubs.

Anyways my point is unless it’s OEM, it is likely bought in bulk in china and sold in US at heavy profits under the guise of branding. Amazon does the same thing and that’s why sites like Temu have taken a great deal of market share because the jig is up.

Now mechanical parts or shit that touches the road, I would do my due dillegence before buying. Like they make fake 666m wheels like nothing is safe. You could return your lease with fake wheels and nobody would know…makes you wonder how much shit is counterfitted and circulates the market.

Are you Kevin from bimmerplug btw?
