Hard top issue - standard!

Hard top stopped halfway through going down and wouldn't latch, so the windows wouldn't operate and I couldn't open the boot….brilliant! Just as the storms hit the uk last week haha. So taped bin bags over windows and hoped for the best. Kept the rain out and got it into a local garage yesterday hoping it was just a sensor issue. Turns out I had the standard wire breaks due to the motion of the roof movement. Envisaged a huge bill to diagnose and fix….£130! Was well happy with that tbh, and will definitely be using my local garage again! Hate to think what the main dealer would have charged!

He did mention (quietly out of earshot of the car) that it'd probably happen on the other side too….not too soon hopefully as I have a Florida holiday to pay for!

On the right are 2x2 sensor cables, on the left are 2 cables.
Ideally all 6 should be renewed in one session to avoid suffering the same stupid situation about 3 times.

2 x 2 pair are on the right.
1 x 1 pair on the left.
Left pair might last a bit longer as there is a bit more wiggle space for them.
